Laurie has a diverse background in marketing, leadership and entrepreneurial development. She most recently served as Marketing and Program Director at a statewide, umbrella non-profit focused on economic development in North Dakota.
She is the founder of Lean In Michigan, a peer mentorship program for women leaders and is involved with MYOI—an initiative to support the success of Michigan youth in foster care.
Gloria McMullan joined MARO in 2013. She provides services for the MARO Workers’ Compensation Fund, the MARO Safety & Health Training and Loss Prevention Program, and also supports the MARO Leadership Academy. Gloria works in partnership with MIOSHA Consultation, Education and Training to provide safety and health program information, support, and training to MARO members.
Gloria has completed MIOSHA Training Institute Level I and & II Certification and is a successful alumna of the MARO Leadership Academy.
Renee has extensive experience in vocational research and website design and development. She has specialty experience in internet accessibility and digital access. She also has experience as a direct service provider working with people with traumatic brain injuries, substance abuse, mental illness, and developmental disabilities. She is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor.
Renee holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religious Studies, a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, and a Master of Arts degree in Rehabilitation Counseling all from Michigan State University. Renee is a successful alumna of the MARO Leadership Academy.
Renee also serves on the Board of Directors of TriCounty TRIAD, as the Communications Chair for BOOM Awards, a statewide recognition program for individuals with disabilities and is a previous member of the Executive Board of the Michigan Rehabilitation Association,
