This intensive and dynamic workshop gives participants "hands-on" practice, guided by the trainer, in developing plans and procedures necessary to demonstrate conformance to standards that have been identified as most challenging by the field. Changes in the 2024 Employment and Community Services (ECS) Standards Manual will be highlighted

Session topics include:

  • An overview of the accreditation process, including an examination of the value of accreditation for organizations, consumers, and the public.
  • An overview of CARF standards, including the ASPIRE to Excellence® quality framework, which is designed to provide a logical and action-oriented approach to continuous quality improvement.
  • Examples of conformance to the CARF standards, including discussion of the most commonly missed standards.

This day-long event will be held at the Incompass Michigan Building in Lansing: 335 Seymour Ave, Lansing, MI 48933, USA
