Leading Teams through change utilizing the Competing Values Framework

11 Sep 2019
1:00pm - 4:00pm EDT

This workshop is designed to have participants come and diagnose change efforts in their organizations, departments or teams.  Organizations are forced to deal with change, whether that is due to legislation, technology, new leadership or changing business models.  This session will examine the leadership competencies to navigate change and build support and trust with those you lead.  Utilizing the competing values model, you will gain the tools to assess your organization and identify the difference between the management competencies and the leadership competencies to be intentional with the change effort and the impact that it has on organizational culture.  Finally this session will touch on practical tools for performance management and giving feedback along with conflict resolution and difficult conversations.  This will be an interactive session with collaboration time with fellow attendees.

Key Objectives:

  • Identify the key behaviors that increase trust and build leadership competencies
  • Understand the four organizational and cultural types and how to assess your organizations current cultural orientation and identify the key competencies necessary to drive the change needed in your organization
  • Discuss the framework for managing individual performance and improve real-time feedback to drive team performance through change and ways to manage difficult conversations when performance isn’t met.
  • Collaborate on potential challenges within organizations as change is happening
